data transfer speed

i connected 2 hd media players on my PC usb and i transferred 750gb of data from one to the other … it took around 12 hours to complete .. is this there a quicker way to transfer large data from 1 drive to another ?

usb 2.0 is currently the fastest way (400 mbps). we’re waiting for usb 3.0 (4 gbps) – (2010)

is this product a fake or usb3.0 is out ? this card fits in my PCMCIA slot right ?
ok i made some research and i found ext hdd encloures with usb3.0 .. tem number:220530055587 . but description says Super Speed USB 3.0 data transfer up to 1.5Gbps/3Gbps for SATA .
if usb 3.0 suppports 5gbps why does it say SATA drives support up to 3gbps ? sata is not fast enough ?
