Want to buy IPhone 4 from US in 2-3 Days

January 25th, 2020

I want to buy Iphone 4 but in my country(India) its not out there yet and the price on Ebay is quite high 800$-850$.
In US it is available in 299$(32 GB) but in locked condition, when I asked the apple support team they told me after purchasing from apple store I have to give additional rent to AT&T,and how much rent I have to pay, they didn’t told me.
So is there any other way to buy the Iphone 4 that has been unlocked and don’t cost me too much like above.

One more thing they told me was If I buy Iphone 4 at the price of 600$ it will be unlocked.
Evil or Very Mad Man this is cheating the price is just the double of original.
Please help me here I need to buy this phone urgently for my friend his birthday is coming soon.
I will provide Hotfile Premium Account for best solution provider.

The 299$ is with a monthly fee +plan? And the 600$ is probably without the monthly fee, just the cellphone and no simcard+plan.
Answer #2
The $199/$299 pricetag is on the condition that you sign a 2 year contract. AFAIK, you cannot buy the phone outright from AT&T or Apple…the $600 pricetag is if you’re not eligible for an upgrade…but you still need to have service from AT&T.

i wouldnt buy tt

I am not a US citizen so I don’t want AT&T’s costly plan and for 600$ they are not giving me warranty outside US.
Is there any other option like unlocking phone by myself (If there is any way out).
Answer #5
How do you plan to unlock it without buying it…?
Answer #6
i wouldnt buy tt
Can you explain me why !
Do you wish to buy HTC desire HD or something else…
Answer #7
I wouldn’t buy it neither. That is way too much money and the iPhone isn’t that great. Good luck on your search. Smile
Answer #8
The price of $299 for a 32GB iPhone 4 is so low because AT&T will charge you $2000 over the course of your two year contract at a minimum.

In order to get the phone without the contract, you must pay $699 for the 32GB phone.

The iPhone 4 is the best smartphone on the market.
I urge you to purchase it if you have the funds.
Answer #9
the 299$ price isn’t real lol. you pay that upfront yes, but you are locked into a contract with ATT and over the two year contract you pay the rest of the 600-799$
so to buy one without a contract you will be paying the full price.

I can see that you’re confused between what an unlocked phone and a contract-less phone means. The price of $299 which the AT&T charges, also requires that you enter into a 2-year old contract with them. This two year contract helps the AT&T to recover the cost which they incurred while selling you a subsidized phone. If you don’t wish you enter into a contract, then you have to pay its full price, and AT&T won’t sell it for the advertised subsidized price of $299. The full price is $299 + ($325 OR $400, confirm it from AT&T). The extra price is charged for not entering into a contract.
Now, if you get the contract-less iphone, it would still be LOCKED to AT&T, this means you can only use the AT&T simcard with the phone, and none other company’s. If you don’t want to use the AT&T simcard in it, you YOURSELF have to unlock it using tools available on the net. However, for the current iOS 4.1, unlock tools have not been developed yet, but may be developed soon. So you may have to wait for it.
I’m planning to get an iPhone 4 from Singapore. It would cost around INR 30.5k, but the best part is that it will be unlocked.
You can get unlocked iphone 4 from : Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, UK, France, Italy, Canada, etc. But the prices here are a bit higher because they are unlocked. So if you have a relative in these countries, I would recommend to get yours from there, instead from US.

I believe you can unlock them yourself if i’m not mistaken
Answer #18
Be wary about buying the so called unlocked iPhones from US, a friend bought one from US and it wasnt unlocked and she found out it was locked to AT&T and when a phone is locked with them, they wont unlock it even if the contract is up, So it will have to be unlocked by yourself and jailbreak.. And if the firmware has been updated via iTunes/apple to latest version, then forget unlocking it until someone figures out a way around the modem firmware
