Urgent Help needed please

So iam building a computer and i thought i plugged everything in, except when i tried to start it up, my monitor stayed on standby and the screen just stayed black.
what could be wrong?

cheak the power going to your graphics card??

There was no power plug to plug into the video card.
Edit: On new egg where i bought it, it said it doesnt need a power connector anyway.

it is, i tried unplugging the video card and using the intergrated one. still nothing.

Is power led, HDD led coming on ?
Does it beep?
Does power supply fan start ?
