oh btw.. it beeps before it freezes.

Warning W314 - The video BIOS is more than 3 years old. If the video adapter has a flash video BIOS, check whether an update is available and install it. You may gain extra performance or bug fixes.
Fix: If your video card has a flash BIOS check whether an updated version is available from the manufacturer.

^ i don’t really understand this..
Warning 2518 : Mainboard temperature is too high.
^ i have no idea how to fix this, i have 3 fans inside my computer, tho only points at it, the rest points at the drives.

Performance Tips
Notice 224 : SMBIOS/DMI information may be inaccurate.
Tip 2511 : Some memory slots are free so the memory can be easily upgraded.
Tip 2546 : Large memory modules should be ECC/Parity.
Warning 2518 : Mainboard temperature is too high.

Answer #1
CPU Temperature : 95.00C td
yup, that’s way to high
the CPU fan is working & clean ?
if so your CPU heatsink may need to be removed and reseated with new thermal paste
are those warnings from the OS, game or bios
what type of screen, a normal window or flat maybe blue & white pop-up
Warning 2518 : Mainboard temperature is too high.
this temp seems ok, not sure why this error but don’t see the GPU/video card temp
what app you use to get that info
speedfan or everest may give you the GPU/video card temp
Answer #2
i used Sisoftware Sandra , i dunno why its to hot, the fans work fine. the warnings also came from sisoftware, im trying to get rid of this problem that keeps occuring.. the freezing while playing a high graphic game. it used to be fine back then. it would make a beep from my computer before freezing, it doesnt come from my speakers either.
my friends telling me to flash my bios, tho i dont have a floppy drive, but he said i could use my 2gb flashdrive? i cant create a bootdisk tho.
Cooling Device(s)
Auto Fan Speed Control : No
System Fan : 2813rpm
CPU Fan : 2377rpm
Auxliary Fan : 2446rpm
Answer #3
I used to use Sisoftware Sandra ……… used it for years.
Then I discovered Everest which seems to be more reliable.
512 megs of RAM seems a little low for high end games.
What Graphics Card do you have?
And ………. don’t flash your bios without saving the bios that is allready on it. If the flash does not work you will have something to fall back on. Also, if you do decide to flash your BIOS (although I don’t think you should) make sure you read and follow the instructions exactly and let everything complete without interruption.

Answer #4
i hae a radeon 9200 series
chip type: radeon 9250/9200 Series AGP (0x5961)
i dont think my video card is the problem tho, my brother has the exact same build of computer as mine, and has work perfectly. fine. mine is the one that keeps acting up and freezing the keyboard. should i buy better ram? i currently have a SD RAM , my friends telling me to buy new ram + motherboard. hm should i switch to everest & uninstall sisoftware?
Answer #5
get speedfan, it free & simple, all temps & speeds on 1st tab
I was a sandra fan also but for more in depth readings everest is better
we need to see your vid card temp as well
and you need to get that CPU temp down
have you visually inspected the CPU fan & heatsink
are they clean & firmly in place
do the same with the vid card fan & heatsink
Answer #6
Image
^ speedfan results.
i have no clue how to view the video card temp. iv cleaned inside my computer already, tho i was afraid touch anything inside it, i just cleaned around it so yeah.. i dont think my video card has a fan built-on.
Answer #7
do a screen shot of the configure/temp page
temp & temp3 look like phantom readings, have seen that 127 before, duz it ever change
temp2 is probly your CPU and 1 is your mobo and those look ok
but no GPU temp
try installing everest(in appz section) and see if that has it
were these reading rt after boot
play till you get the warning and then see what they are
if you would plz upload your pic to tinypic or code the link
Answer #8

heres the configure/temp page.
i have no idea how to view gpu temp.
the problem is that when i play games like silkroad/WoW/etc. my computer would make a *BEEP* and my whole keyboard would freeze and my character would continue walking, tho my mouse doesn’t freeze, which forces me to manually restart.
Answer #9
well most likely is that when you play the game and the temp is riising the problem would be cooling.
so try to open the case and play the game than evt you could add a external fan if you have or add a internal one on the grphics card that should solve your problem.
Answer #10
uh i dont think its my video card tho, iv tried swappping video cards with my brother , and its not that hot here , its like 49 and the highest it would go would be 60. (california)
Answer #11
everest can log the temps in the background so when you reboot you can check them
is you power button set to shutdown the PC and duz it work after the freeze, instead of power off & on ?
have you visually inspected the CPU ? to be sure all is connected properly ?
Answer #12
im sure its connected properly cus it used to work fine
my power button is set to if i hit the power button, it will close everything and shutdown
Answer #13
im sure its connected properly cus it used to work fine
and it used to not freeze as well ?
check it any way
it will close everything and shutdown
good
duz it sill work after the game freezes ?
Answer #14
it wouldn’t freeze back then until i played a close beta game called Silkroad, when it first came out, that was the cause of this. yeah the power button would still work, its just that my keyboard freezes, im not quite sure how exactly it should be plugged, should i take pictures of them and upload them? if so what would you like to see inside my computer?
-edited
it has seem to worsen, even with the lowest graphic game it would freeze. i tried loading maple story, and it would work fine for about 30 sec, and then it would beep. the keyboard freezing starts.
Answer #15
its just that my keyboard freezes, im not quite sure how exactly it should be plugged,
is it a ps2 or usb keyboard ?
if ps2 it should be plug into the bottom/closest to the edge socket
Answer #16
its a ps/2 keyboard..
i dont think its the keyboards problem, iv tried switching it also.
when i said im not sure how exactly it should be plugged, i was talking about the cpu.
Answer #17
i was talking about the cpu.
you need to remove the heatsink then there should be a lever to release it
iv tried switching it also.
switching sockets and switching KB with another ?
the fact that the KB freezes but the PC duz not means it’s software more than likely
this only happens with games ?
run “dxdiag” from a run box and check the input tab for errors/problems
check the 1st tab for directX version
Answer #18
keyboards. i just switched to a usb keyboard, works fine for now.
yes it only happens with games, but when i browse youtube or any flash sites, i would lag very bad.
no problems found for the keyboard. i got directx 9.0c
Answer #19
works fine for now.
maybe a bad socket or plug then, on the PS2
good luck, keepin’ my fingers X for you
Answer #20
when i unplugged the ps/2 and replug it in while its frozen, it would beep everytime i plug and unplug it
Answer #21
got another PS2 KB to try ?
Answer #22
nope i threw the other one away, the one i used to use was about 5/6 years old.
