Phoenix-Award Bios Update—BlueScreenOfDeath

hi
i am using xp
today when i started my computer after windows loading screen a bluescreen came for a split second and pc restarted
i stopped auto restart so i get the error from bluescreen of death
it was

now i am in safemode with networking

i went to phoenix website and they said use a software called biosagent plus to scan my computer
and the software said my bios is bad and i need to buy the software to upgrade it. (the software is not in wbb:( )
so what can i do?
how can i update my bios??

i downloaded the inpiron 8200 driver
i dont know hw to use it?

go to the pc or motherboard makers site and look for bios upgrades and instructions on how to upgrade but first enter bios setup probably Delk key on boot up and reset bios to defaults there can not be much wrong if you can boot to safe mode

i just phoned my cousin…he is a software enginneer…
he reckons it has nothing to do with bios
he said it probebly to do with windowsblind software i installed yesterday…
i already had astonshell…tried to change the windows explorer sheel using windows blind
when i installed it yetrday the setup failed etc…i only restared the comp[uter today
so it has to be tht ~ Lovely ~ windows blind
now i uninstalled it
but shill dont restart it probebly fuke*ed up my windows folder
i am thinking about reinstalling everything

erm i imp thing
in this computed i upgraded my ram and graphics card few months back
i had to install those drivers? from the cd i got from it…
do i have to do that again(i have no idea were those bloody cds are)
i dont understadn how drivers work

Take it to the service at your PC shop and they should be able to solve the problem.

Yes you will have to update drivers again drivers are the software connection between windows and the hardware, so windiws knows what the hw is and how to talk to it as said above down load the latest from the grafx card makers site

I reinstalled it
i am guessing it was windowsblind fu*in it up
i had 5 patrition…i had just windows in C:\
all other patritions were FAT32
i just deleted everything in C:\ and installed win xp i too from the app section
it works fine now…
i backed up eveyhtng file i needed from c:\
so its fine now
