Monitor with Photoshop … Colors?

August 4th, 2016

Hi,
I have a Dell laptop with an external monitor hooked up to it via VGA cable.
The display is fine, however when I go into Photoshop I get this message …

And the white colors in Photoshop are more creamy than white.
The same happens when I open up Windows Photo Gallery to look at pictures.
However when I view those same pictures on the internet the colors are fine?
Can someone please help?
Thanks

I have the same problem in both my Samsung monitors as well (connected via DVI)
Here’s what I do to fix them
go to control panel > Color Management. Select the Device, check the box that says use my settings, in the profiles associated with this device box add sRGB IEC61966-2.1 and remove the Samsung one. On the all profiles tab also remove the Samsung profile and reboot. Should work.
Edit: I just use my way of doing it as an example.

Just reset Your Monitor… then Update the Drivers..

Strange because that method fixes Photo Gallery for me as too but keep trying different options there. It’s all possible through the Color Management panel. Basically you need to remove all profiles associated with Samsung and put back the default profiles.
