KDL-40EX500 internet malfunction

First, this is the network infrastructure used:
TP-LINK TD-8816 is connected to the ISP. It is bridged to a TP-LINK WR-340G, and the TV is connected to the WR-340G via a regular (not “crossover”) Ethernet cable. The modem (TD-8816) router has TV listed as connected device, also MAC addresses match. When I run “Check network connection” on the TV I get all three checks “OK” but when I run network diagnostics it says something like “Servers could not be found…”. Also when running an internet service for example Youtube the entire TV freezes. Not only that but it doesn’t respond to remote controls. Do you need any additional information? Thanks in advance. P.S. I’m sorry if this seems fuzzy, I wrote this really quickly, and I realize only now it seems a bit uncomprehensible.

I have this TV, but you should ask Sony about it.
Rarely would you find a TV expert on here that knows exactly what your talking about.
