Help with error code VE_PD_NOTFOUND

January 25th, 2020

For a good year or so, I was thinking this was to do with the youtube vid being deleted or something.. Seems it aint.. Some times I can get the error and refresh the page and have the vid work.. Most the time not.. Some vids work, others dont…??
Researched a few ideas on how to fix the prob and none have worked.. Any one know a proper fix or how to identify the prob??

Normally this issue resolves if you completely uninstall the Flash Player, then reinstall. Does it happen with all browsers too?

Do you know that YouTube doesn’t use Flash as default anymore?
can you try clicking the right button in the video box and tell us if you read Flash written anywhere?

Yes, where the browser supports it, but I believe this is a Flash error message.

I tried searching on it, but there is no confirmation about its origin…
From memory I recall to never have seen a Flash error so I guess it’s an HTML5 problem. We will see what he will answer…
: do you have downloaders like IDM or JDownloader 2 running or extensions that in a way or another interact with the video source?

Thnx for replies this post got buried before I got back to it, and have just found it again since search came back up. Deleted and reinstalled flash player and the problem still persists in Firefox my usual browser. The videos are in flash, ill post a link. And tried the same link in ms edge browser which worked successfully with out the error. I have gotten IDM a couple months ago, but had the problem much longer then that, so I dont think it is the overall cause of the problem. As well as that while using edge for the first time, the links also had a short add at the start, in firefox it doesnt so I presume add block is blocking the adds. I tried disabling addblock on the page to see if it made a difference, but the adds sill didnt show up.. (Given on the page linked there is 6 videos and 2 wont work, rest do, and all of them had adds in edge, it doesnt seem to be a problem though?

That link has 6 videos embedded in it. 2 of them dont work but the rest do. The same videos didnt work before and after deleting flash and reinstalling. The above link is what I used for all the testing I have described. Random to me which videos do and dont work, but on the linked page it is the same 2 videos that had the error on each occasion for example.
Any ideas??

The post you stated just has the info to delete and reinstall flash which didnt help. There is two topics in the adobe website with the precise error, and no one has gotten back to them with a working solution, so probably just a problem ill have to live with, unless some one has a better idea…
