Desktop search utility for win 7 64 bit something like ava

I’ve been using ava find on xp for a real long time…. I got myself a new laptop and it has win7 on it… I wasn’t sure what to install!
Iwouldn’t want t to hog too much of my memory.. a simple light tool is what i’m looking for

Win7 has a default search option, use that, I use it all the time, its pretty reliable.

well it doesn’t bring up the hidden files!

Go to the menu bar in explorer. Click on tools –> options —> folder options then click show hidden files and folders…

did that… i tried to lo for hpcd.sys but it never came up!
