What error number?
What FW you want to install (restore to)?
Answer #2
Sounds like you’re trying to install firmware for the wrong iDevice.

Nah, I don’t think so…
He should tell us what error he got (number)…. It could be that he want to restore to 5.0 and he don’t have SHSH….
Answer #4
If he is doing it by itunes, I don’t think it’s possible that is a wrong device since iTunes identifies it automatically right?

OFC he is gonna restore it via iTunes… It’s impossible to restore iDevice with some other tool!

The Gevey SIM isn’t compatible with iOS 5, is it?
Answer #8
I done some research and it says it is? I hope I’m reading the right thing. It says as long as you preserve your baseband you are fine. I have the baseband 4.10.01

Which tool you used? (to preserve BB from updating) And care to explain how you did that?!

It’s not working with iOS 5.x.x BB but if you preserve it from updating you are good to go..

On that video, he has OLD BB… so that’s the point!
If you have new one (04.11.08 BB) you can’t use GEVEY!
