I tried zbigz.com and other sites but it has lot of restrictions. Is there a way i can download torrents directly

Well, seeing IDM does not work on the bittorrent protocol, that will be impossible.
You need a bittorrent client to download torrents. I recommend uTorrent.
If you want direct downloads, you will want a usenet account, pretty much the same stuff.
