[SOLVED]External Hard Disk Problem :(

January 21st, 2020

I have a Transcend 160 GB External Hard Disk.
What happened was that I once unplugged it without “safely removing hardware”.
Now what is happening is that when I insert the Hard Disk, the comp tells me = “You need to format the disk in Drive G: before you can use it.”
I tried plugging-unplugging it many times, but to no avail.
I have lot of important data on the drive, so I don’t want to format it.
Can anyone please suggest a method to make it give me the data?
Thanks in advance

Try using Stellar Phoenix, or run chkdsk on it.

Btw, I have Windows 7.

I had the same problem once, File scavenger recovered everything , Do a long scan
and select no when it asks if to search for deleted files (The files have not been deleted,Its just a file table
corruption) , When it finishes youll see all the partitions content and be able to recover all of it or whatever you want,
You just gotta have enough free space on another HDD

I tried about 10 programs, none worked, but File Scavenger solved everything
