[SOLVED] Problem with Power Saver (Power Options – Plan)

August 4th, 2016

Processor:
AMD Phenom II x3 720 @ 3.4GHz

Graphics:

HD 4870 (1GB)
Memory:
4 GB Mushkin (2×2) @ 800MHz

Motherboard:
ECS GF8200A

Operating System:

Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate)
Well the issue is that before some time it used to lower the CPU clock at 800Mhz during Idle, now it leaves it at 3.4Ghz. I think it happened during some Windows Update or because i tried to play a game with “Power Saver”.
Could i somehow reset the Power Options to underclock my CPU at 800Mhz at idle, or find another program that does it ? Whoever helps me fix my problem, gets one Bitgamer invite. Thanks in Advance, plus have a Happy New Year

I think it’s the Cool n Quiet which did the Cooling job, how can i keep it enabled and have the CPU overclocked via Hardware

No more double-posts, delete it. I’ve fixed it, it was when i raised the Voltage to a more stable (3.4ghz @ 1.425V). Now it works !!
