PS3 downloaded games form Extermal HDD

OK guys heres the deal.
I have bought WD external 1.5 TB, and i have PS3, now can one of you good souls exlpane to me step by step what I need to do to play downloaded games on my PS3.

is your ps3 jailbroken ?
if it isnt what firmware are you on anything above 3.55 is useless atm.

if ur on firmware 3.55 or lower you just need a modified firmware
but anything above 3.55+ you need a hardware flasher to downgrade
to a custom firmware this requires soldering and don’t use a E3 flasher it bricks 80% of the consoles
