Previously on a wireless, now i cant connect…

Hey, i usualy use a wireless card to connect to the modem in our house, but i wanted to try connect a cable to the modem and plug it to the port on my motherboard
Iv enabled the device, and it isnt working, iv got No clue what i can do..
Can anyone please help.

Can u mention the type of the Modem ? Like ADSL or any other ?

yeah….your router is configureted to get internet via wifi…with cable you have only local access right ?,go at Red connecions,first of all turn off the wifi and restart the router,go at Red connecions hit proprietes and select ipv4 and now depends if you have autmomatic..or the other oane,if you have an ip showed there then note him on paper and hit automatic….that should work…..

In the network conections folder there are two conections… one is the wireless conection, and another is called 1394 conection, this must be the addaptor on my motherboard, when i try to repair it, i get this error:
