My modem gone ? Or is it my fault ?

Hi guys. I have been using ZyXEL 600-R Prestige series ADSL2+ modem for about 2.5 years. I was leeching a torrent with my full speed last night, than connection crashed.After it, it came on normal time. Then, again crashed. Now the modem opening but can’t stuck on ip. I mean, DSL lamp always flashes. It sends anormal ip numbers to computer. ( Like ::ff:8:&&:%% ) And DSL lamp keeps flashing. I have resetted it many times, but again same. BTW my band is ADSL. Hope someones answer, thanks.
P.S : I’m now on my secondary modem and it works perfect.

If your secondary modem works fine then it’s most likely a malfunctioning modem. Try updating your LAN drivers and see if it changes anything. Anyway, if it doesn’t then I think you need to get your modem replaced

OMG. You said it’s gone off. Any other suggestions ? One of my friends suggested firmware but when i try to upload it to modem, it gives 404 error.

You could try unninstall the modem drivers run a registry cleaner and install the drivers again.Your ADSL line is good as your other modem is fine .If you have no luck then you will have to replace it.
