(figured a work around myself)Keygen registration blocking problem

August 6th, 2016

These are the instructions:
Block <installation dir>\bin\TBConsoleUI.exe in your firewall
to enable offline activation and prevent your license from getting
blacklisted.
Allow exception of outgoing access to IP 127.0.0.1 otherwise the
application may not launch.
I am using 8.1. I know how to edit the host file. I do not know how to allow access to outgoing IP 127.0.0.1 in windows firewall. so far this thing either hangs or returns invalid registration/already used…..

Answer #1
You should allow it from the firewall. You can create rules and you can enable that the application can connect to the local address; if I got it right.
Answer #2
8.2 installs fine if you ignore the nfo and just disconnect from the net. 8.3 does not register under any circumstance, regardless of method (never defaults to an offline activation alternative). any claim to the contrary is imbecilic. you might be able to upgrade from 8.2 to 8.3 but not feeling that lucky and the difference between the 2 is trivial.
8.3 E.Todo.B.Advan.Serv. posts by themselves are a total waste of bandwidth. does anyone ever check when a new version is released whether the previous method (keygen) still works? evidently no.
