COD4:MP Errors

August 3rd, 2016

I installed and patched COD4 a while ago (or extracted the folder without installing to F:\), but it was German so I deleted it. Now I downloaded another one and extracted the file to C:\ and when I went to patch it, it said it was already 1.7.
I clicked reinstall to check, and the installed patch for 1.6 and 1.7 was still F:\ (which isn’t in use anymore). So I changed it to the current dir (C:\) and patched. After I realized that the game was a clean copy, I tried to patch from 1-7, though they all said they were already installed.
I went in-game to see the current version and it said it was 1.7 on the bottom-right and in the console. So I tried to connect to a server and it said:
“Impure client detected. Invalid IWD files referenced!
F:\Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare\main\iw_06.iwd”
Edit: I extracted the game again to a different dir, installed the patches from .1 – .7 (.1 – .4 was good, .5 – .7 said it was already installed so I uninstalled and reinstalled) and still the same error.

Did you replaced the MP Crack over the original file???
If yes, then reinstall!!! You shouldn’t use Mp crack!
Answer #3
I patched 1.6 and 1.7 again to get the original MP file, though still the same error.
