Can’t Install FSX: ACL

So i went no point of even playing this. Then i realized there was a direct X 10 expansion out, awesome because i have a 8800 Ultra.
So i dl the expansion, by now all my BW is used up,,,great…
And i run installer and it says i don’t have FSX installed…even though i do,,and i can even play it…FSX it works fine but FSX ACL says i don’t have it installed…so anyway to fix this?
I’m kinda stuck i’ve tried so many different options and i don’t know what to do.

dunno mate just try uninstalling everything and doing it all again
Try reinstalling it into the default folder and see if it changes anything. Good luck mate ^^
it was in default…i don’t know why its saying i don’t have it installed, i want a good game that is not over in 7 hours.

Well i think i found the error while installed at the VERY end last .001% of installing it says

even though i have disk 1 and 2 mounted twice in daemon tools…
and it installed without asking so i know its reading Disk 2….so im stuck!

and at the end it says no modification has been changed to your computer. or something among that. which means in the registry it does not show the FSX is installed. which is why acceleration wont work..
My question now is can i install it manuly?
and when i go to install FSX ACL it gives me a weird different error
i need a English version of FSX (i do)
i post differnt posts so u know when i get the errors and whatsteps im takein.
i had the same problem! what you have to do is uninstall FSX completely and reinstall, DONT apply cracks to it install SP1 DONT apply cracks then install SP2 then you can apply the crack to FSX. It worked for mine.
