Best Website program ?

February 1st, 2020

Man, I don’t know a thing about web design, but I want to start > What is the easiest but best program to get started ? Joomla ? Subdreamer ? Modx ? Mamba ? What ?
Answer #1
This will probably get all the hand-coders who use notepad going, but an easy way is to just get one of those ‘Idiot’s guides’ or ‘Web design for Dummies’ books. They not only explain how to do things, but why they’re done that way.
As your knowledge grows, you can use something like Dreamweaver, then branch out to other applications and languages etc.
Answer #2
if you are new in web design probably is good to start with a simplier prog like ms frontpage

Answer #7

Answer #8
LOL @ Dreamweaver. Have fun churning out bloated code without learning a thing about what you’re doing.
OP, get Notepad++ and look at some of the many HTML/CSS tutorials online to start you off.
Answer #9
If you are going for ‘web design’, then you should hunt for Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Imageready.
If you are going for ‘web creation’, then you should hunt for Dreamweaver and Notepad.
The Joomla and Mambo in which you had mentioned in your first post are NOT programs, but they are Content Management System (CMS), which requires some ‘advanced’ knowledge on how to implement and setup them.
Good luck!
Answer #10
LOL @ FTP access and SQL being “advanced” TBH.
