You can use Avira, it’s a great antivirus and free or Kaspersky with a Trial Reset.
Answer #2
Avira (free) + Malwarebytes (free) = No. #1 protection
Answer #3
i am using Norton Internet security and Malwarebytes and its works great so far.
Answer #4
Stick with avast
I personally use free avast and free malware bytes

Used to use Eset, until 5.0 came out; it was too buggy and slow though. I’m using Norton 360 right now with Malwarebytes and they’re pretty good.
Answer #6
for years i have use comodo its been free and easy to use, never letting me down
you can also use windows defender to cover your pc aswell.
Answer #7
Kaspersky for me.
ESET ~censored~ up internet connection for me and made streaming to my consoles impossible.
Bit defender also messed up streaming.
Norton ruined my pc back in the day.

I use malwarebytes, downloaded last year, then it updated to version 1.6 itself…still full version, thats surprising. Can someone explain why? How long does it last, one year? I actually thought they’d figure its cracked.
Answer #10
The only real defence is being cautious on the net, does not matter how good av is if your careless.
I use kaspersky, but others are just as good.

I would NOT consider this post as a SPAM because -paroxysM^ is RIGHT! Common sense is the best ANTIVIRUS and ANTIMALWARE TOOL… People need to TURN ON their BRAIN!
Nice one mate!
Answer #12
Avira free is best, IMO
Answer #13
Can’t go wrong with any one of these:

That’s from AV-Comparatives. Combine one of those with Malwarebytes and, as others have said, the most important is your brain!
Answer #14
avast free + malwarebytes free + superantisyware free
or
avira free + malwarebytes free + superantisyware free
Answer #15
I’ve been using Kaspersky Internet Security for years (since version 2009 – now it’s version 2012) and since then I have never gotten infested with a virus, trojan, root kit, etc. so I highly recommend it.
All you need is to get a fresh key once of week and update it only once to say on top of the latest virus definitions (after one day the keys are usually blacklisted so set Kaspersky to do manual not automatic updates). Fresh keys are easy to get since Kaspersky is one of the most popular anti-virus apps. I get a fresh key every week here without any problem
Answer #16
Please tell me about malwarebytes.
I have installed version 1.51…. By Snorgared.
It says unattended and medicine Sew.
What does that mean. It updated to latest version and its still full version.

I thought that was to the point, without annoying Lionden.
Common sense is a major factor involved in downloading files.
I have used SAV Corporate for at least 10 years with no issues, although EOL now, definitions are still updating for the next 12 months or so.
I have been testing Comodo IS on this lappie, but it’s a bit naff.
