Audio splitter?

August 15th, 2013

I have one sounds system that takes the red and white cable. I also have a ps3 and a computer that I use with the sound system.. It’s a pain having to change the red and white cables everytime I want to use one of the systems.. Is there some sort of splitter like thing to plug both cables in a swap easily?
Thanks !

You should be able to plug your PS3 into the amplifier and then plug the amplifier into your TV.
If you dont have one you might want to go down to your local entertainment retailer and ask for prices on amps and also ask if there is a joiner cable you can buy, which would be cheaper

Something like this is probably the best bet, been looking for the cheapest option, but google is failing me. If you’re anyway experienced with wires and soldering, you could make a box yourself. get all the components out of radioshack or ebay hope this helps.

Like truedoom says, you should be able to pick up something like this for under $10 at you local “cheap” electrical/novelty shop..

I agree, any A/V switcher will work depending on how many devices you wish to use with the sound system.
They also make these switchers for for several different types of connecters forgoing the need for adapters.
