App to download music directly to iThingy

So I want to preface this with the following before I get into it:
I legitimately buy the albums I like but I always try to download them first.
Now: is there an app that I can get that will let me download “borrowed” music (and apps too I guess) directly to my iThingy?
I went to hackme.com (or something like that) and got cydia and I saw a lot of things in there but it’s not free. Is there a magic app for homebrew\warez for the iThingys? What about one where I can play music into the mic and it tell me what it is and maybe where to “borrow” it?
This is my first iThingy so I don’t know the scene for it. I know the forums have the mobile section which covers iThingys and the Thyroids and whatnot but I was hoping for something exactly like that but on the iThingy. Would it be possible to direct the web broswer on it to warez-bb and download it like that? I doubt it, but I thought I’d ask. It’s an iThingy 4 regular (not 4S or 4Si – it doesn’t have Siri) and I have iOS 4.Something (if that helps).
Again, this is my first iThingy (and Apple product, for that matter) so any help with outfitting it with awesomeness would be much appreciated.

^ LOL yeah its a little diffcult to tell what you’re sayin
There’s an app called Shazam on the AppStore that will tell you the song name/artist when you play a sample of the song through the mic…and i think it should direct you to the itunes link for it
