Adobe Acrobat error 16 in Windows 7 64 bit

January 22nd, 2020

Every time I open a pdf file, about ten seconds later a window comes on saying it’s error 16 and says to uninstall/reinstall adobe or call for technical help. I looked it up and apparently it’s about permissions, like maybe adobe thinks I’m not the admin or something. The solution to the problem on the web, the only one I found is offered for photoshop but not acrobat. Anybody know what I’m supposed to do here?

Thanks. But I don’t know what SLStore is or what “set permissions” means. I think that’s also for CS5 and not adobe acrobat.
