(SOLVED) WOOT – Or anyone else who’s iPhone savvy…

Hi,
Can you tell me why this screen appears when using GreenPoison?

It’s a 3GS and on 4.3.5. That’s all I know as I just bought it for my sons birthday (cracked screen needs repair $100, thought it was a bargain!)
Phone is unlocked.

UPDATE – It’s ok, I just realised that it has to be put back to 4.3.3 to be JB.
Is it safe to use jailbreakme.com once I put it back?

Yeah jailbreakme is safe for 4.3.3, but you can only downgrade if you have SHSHs for that firmware.

Yap, just use JailbreakME for 4.3.3 FW (safe and clean)… And like prozac, my mate, said you must have SHSH blobs in order to downgrade FW!
BTW Greenpois0n doesn’t work for 4.3.5 only for 4.2.1!

It’s better for you to go upgrade to 5.0. JB it and use semi-tether. It’s better than the choice you have right now.

You can download TinyUmbrella and click SAVE SHSH to see if there is any SHSH saved before..
Greenpoison ONLY works on 4.2.1 FW and that is all!
redsn0w will work on 4.3.5…

So you don’t have saved SHSH blobs and you are SOL!
That warning that you must not restore unless you kill that PID4… it’s normal because it use port 80 which is very important for TinyUmbrella and TSS server.
No SHSH Blobs = No Upgrade/Downgrade (you can go only to latest FW available, atm that is 5.0)
