How can i sing record it and then combined it

I am really curious to how this would be done and if its hard or not what programe and so forth. How can i record what i sign and then combined it with music from a tune?

Sing it record it, and then combine it? With what? Well you should probably get a DAW(Recording software) like Reaper, Then buy a mic i suggest a MXL 909 mic, then, run it through a Mbox 2, to your computer. Computer>Mbox 2> MXL 909> Voice.
